About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Senior Web Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will lead the development of modern, scalable, and high-performing web applications while collaborating closely with designers, product managers, and other developers. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and leadership skills to guide projects from concept to deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize high-quality websites and web applications
- Lead frontend and backend development tasks across multiple projects
- Write clean, scalable, secure, and well-documented code
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, project managers, and other developers
- Review code, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior developers
- Improve website performance, speed, security, and responsiveness
- Integrate third-party APIs, services, and tools
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues efficiently
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness
- Stay updated with the latest web technologies and development best practices
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Web Developer or Senior Web Developer
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks
- Experience with frontend libraries/frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular
- Strong backend development experience with PHP, Laravel, Node.js, or similar technologies
- Good understanding of database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
- Experience with API development and third-party integrations
- Strong understanding of responsive design, web performance, and security best practices
- Proficiency with Git and version control workflows
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading development teams or mentoring junior developers
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and deployment workflows
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress is a plus
- Understanding of SEO-friendly development practices
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments
